This is the Brazen Band, a group of adventurers from various places in Faerûn, getting stuck with each other over money, alcohol and a missing shoe. An innovative halfling from Luiren with a need to prove himself, a dwarf in search of something valuable, an elf struck with wanderlust and happy to stay that way, an unambitious half-nymph chased out of her home, a water genasi on the run and a human fleeing the darkness that threatens Icewind Dale, these six will have to unite or they'll fall. Will they be able to save the Dale or get killed by the first group of goblins to cross their path?
